Joe Bleakley's work as a production designer includes the feature films Wild Horses, Leave All Fair, and the New Zealand sequences for the Swedish feature Christmas Oratorio with Perfect Strangers producer, Robin Laing. He was off set Art Director for The Lord Of The Rings trilogy.

Joe is also a well known theatre designer and has staged many large live events, most notably he was concept designer for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 1990 Commonwealth Games.
