Tobeck is a well-known New Zealand actor whose
feature film credits include Nicki Caro’s
Memory and Desire and Harry Sinclair’s Topless
Women Talk About Their Lives which won him
a New Zealand Film Award for Best Actor. Prior
to Perfect Strangers he had just completed
filming the UK family feature The Water Giant,
directed by John Henderson.
Television credits include the cult series Xena:
Warrior Princess, Hercules, Lawless, Cleopatra
2525 and Shortland Street.
Tobeck is currently being directed by Sam Neill
in the Melbourne tele-movie The Brush Off
starring David Wenham.
